Blue Balls
Yes, the page is called Balls. No, we will not be renaming it.
This September, we’re going up and down repeatedly until our arms give out. All to raise money for prostate cancer. Finally, vigorous public thrusting for a genuinely good cause.
Prostate cancer is the most diagnosed cancer among Kiwi men. Around 4,000 blokes are diagnosed every year and roughly 700 die from it. Which is considerably less funny than the word balls.
The arrangement is simple: we do a stupid number of push-ups. You put your hand in your pocket. Everybody wins, except our shoulders.
If you’ve ever made a balls joke, drawn a penis on something, laughed at the number 69 or told a mate to “harden up,” consider this your tax bill.
Our goal is $3,000.
Getting checked can start with a conversation and a simple blood test, so nobody necessarily has to leap straight to the finger-up-the-arse chapter. Although, if we hit $10,000, Pablo may reconsider the stretch goals.
Donate generously. Talk to your doctor. Look after your balls.
And please don’t leave us hanging... sweating, trembling and completely spent with our asses in the air.
