This September I've set myself an epic fundraising challenge to help bring down prostate cancer and support our mates.

I ride a heaps long distance to inspire you to dig deep towards lifesaving education, research and support.

Let's tackle prostate cancer together. Donate now. Because prostate cancer is killing people in our community. It's the most diagnosed cancer for blokes in NZ. 

Your support helps provide research into treating and diagnosing prostate cancer, along with support for people affected by a diagnosis. Plus you'll be helping raise awareness so more blokes know to get tested when they need to.

Monday 7th Sep

Start to second week was miserable. Cold southerly and rain Monday morning. A grouchy head wind as well Unfortunately, it was a late start which meant I only had time to bike from home to Takapu road station and then from. Railway station to work. Not too sure what the quality of my brakes are like heading down a steepish descent like the gorge. I'll know more this afternoon on ride home with the wind at my back down Middleton road!

Well, this morning I completed my fifth ride. Had a strong northwester behind me that helps. I've been lucky with the weather. I have yet to experience gale force headwind and horizontal rain. Chanced are I will. Still it's all worth it.
