This September, I'm supporting Blue September and helping raise awareness and funds for prostate cancer research, support, and early detection.
At Go Wireless NZ, we're also running our Teltonika Blue September campaign, with fundraising activities taking place throughout the month. As customers and partners get involved, we're hoping to make a meaningful contribution to an important cause that affects thousands of Kiwi men and their families.
For me, this year's challenge is also personal. Earlier this year I suffered a trimalleolar ankle fracture that required surgery and left me with a fair bit of metal holding things together. Four months on from having the cast removed, recovery is still a work in progress.
During September, I'll be challenging myself to stay active by increasing my daily walking and building strength through regular press-ups. It might not seem like much, but after months of recovery, every step is a reminder of how important health, perseverance, and support can be.
