This September I've set myself a fundraising challenge to help bring down prostate cancer and support our mates.

Here's the gameplan:

I smash out heaps of push-ups throughout the month to inspire you to dig deep towards life-saving research and support.

Let's tackle prostate cancer together. Donate now. Because prostate cancer is killing people in our community. It's the most diagnosed cancer for blokes in NZ.

Your support helps provide research into treating and diagnosing prostate cancer, along with support for people affected by a diagnosis. Plus you'll be helping raise awareness so more blokes know to get tested when they need to.

739 Press Up Challenge

Thursday 24th Sep

742 press ups done today, took a bit over 6 hours. Definitely feeling it now. Very satisfying and still plenty of time left in the month to donate to the cause

In 2 days I’m doing the 739 press up challenge, I’m told that most donations come in the last couple of days…

I do a few pressups every week so I debated whether to log them, seeing as I intend to do 739 on the 24th. I decided to log them, so I will add 739 to the target the night of the 23rd.

I had a relatively straightforward experience with prostate cancer, early detection, prostatectomy and then recovery back in 2018.I’ve been fortunate enough to be clear ever since. But I have not done anything to support the the cause until now. To spice things up a bit I’ve just decided to knock the 739 press ups out in one day on 24 September. My friends at activ8 are providing the venue and a bit of encouragement.
