This September, I’m taking on a fundraising challenge to help reduce the impact of prostate cancer and support those affected by it.
The plan:
Throughout the month, I’ll be attempting to complete 1,478 push-ups — double the number of New Zealand men who lose their lives to prostate cancer each year. It’s a symbolic effort to raise awareness and encourage support for life-saving research and care services.
Let’s stand together against prostate cancer. It remains the most commonly diagnosed cancer among men in New Zealand and continues to affect countless lives in our communities.
By donating to the cause, your support will help provide essential care for individuals facing a diagnosis, increase awareness so more men get tested when needed, and contribute to ongoing research into improved treatment and early detection.
