Will you support me this Blue September? Let's tackle prostate cancer together
This September I've set myself a fundraising challenge, to help bring down prostate cancer and support our mates.
Here's the gameplan:
About 739 blokes in NZ die from prostate cancer each year. So I'm going to walk 100m for each of them, or 73.9km in a weekend. I'll be yomping from Miranda to Thames on day-1, then Thames to Paeroa on day-2. I'll be doing this on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th September.
If you'd consider sponsoring me I'd be hugely grateful. Even a couple of bucks could make a difference.
Your support will help provide research into treating and diagnosing prostate cancer, along with support for people affected by a diagnosis. Plus you'll be helping raise awareness so more blokes know to get tested when they need to.
Let's have a crack at beating this bastard.
PS - ignore the 'Most people donate $60' message from the website. They don't. Money's tight right now. Even five bucks would make a difference. 🙏

My Impact
My fundraising will help provide 21 people affected by prostate cancer with vital support from a free, nurse-led Information Service.
Great cause & message - early detection is so important <3
