DIY for Prostate Cancer 2026

Will you support me this Blue September? Let's tackle prostate cancer together

This September I've set myself a fundraising challenge to help bring down prostate cancer and support our mates.

Here's the gameplan:

I take on a challenge of my choosing throughout the month to inspire you to dig deep towards life-saving research and support.

Let's tackle prostate cancer together. Donate now. Because prostate cancer is killing people in our community. It's the most diagnosed cancer for blokes in NZ.

Your support helps provide research into treating and diagnosing prostate cancer, along with support for people affected by a diagnosis. Plus you'll be helping raise awareness so more blokes know to get tested when they need to.

Donate now.

I Have Prostate Cancer

Monday 24th Aug

Like far too many men, for me prostate cancer is something that happens to someone else - until it happened to me.

Im fortunate in that it has been diagnosed early enough for a good prognosis.  Surgery is realistic, and should deal to the cancer.

Not every man is so fortunate. Some only find out when it is too late. Others get on a treatment plan, but still find the impact far greater than they ever realised.

We need to do more to tackle this issue. Raise awareness. Support men and their whanau though their diagnosis and plans.  Here is my small part in doing this.
