This September, Waiheke Rugby Club have set themselves a fundraising challenge to help bring down prostate cancer and support our mates. Many in our club have seen loved ones go through this disease so it is a worthwhile cause being close to our heart.
All funds raised go directly to Blue September
Our first challenge is a Parents Touch game at our annual Club Day on Saturday 23rd August at 2:30pm at Onetangi Sports Park.
Rippa vs Tackle parents, 6-aside with rolling subs and our very own President of the club, Jimbo will be the ref! But there’s one more kicker - all players must wear gumboots!
Let's tackle prostate cancer together. Donate now. Because prostate cancer is killing people in our community. It's the most diagnosed cancer for blokes in NZ.
Your support helps provide support for people affected by a diagnosis. Plus you'll be helping raise awareness so more blokes know to get tested when they need to, along with research into treating and diagnosing prostate cancer.
Donate now.
