We're known for a few things at CDE: great work, good yarns… and the occasional colourful language...
So this September, we’re putting our bad habits to good use with a swear jar - every slip of the tongue adds to our fundraising total for the Prostate Cancer Foundation NZ.
Why? Because prostate cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in Kiwi men, and around 700 men lose their lives to it each year. In an industry like ours, those stats hit close to home. Early detection saves lives - but too many men still put off the check-ups.
So, if you’d like to back the cause (or just take joy in our vocab costing us a few bucks), hit that donate button and help us reach our goal. Every bit helps. And who knows - we might even clean up our language in the process. Maybe.
