Earlier this year, prostate cancer has suddently just become real for me. Diagnosed with early stage prostate cancer after a PSA test in January 2025, I had surgery early April to remove the prostate. I'm still on a journey to full recovery, but things are ticking along ok. At least I'm back on the bike. This September I've set myself an epic fundraising challenge to help bring down prostate cancer and support our mates.

Monday 8th Sep

Week one of the Blue September fundraiser cycling efforts done. On target with the current tally sitting on 322km (goal is at least 1,200km). Today’s Father’s Day ride was from Wellington to Greytown for a couple of days R&R (with more riding planned) and quality time with my better half.

Spring has started today …..

…. and so has my Blue September fundraiser activity. I plan to ride at least 1,200km this month to fight prostate cancer. Many have already donated on my page but wouldn’t it be great if we could raise a little more? Let’s try to match a $ for each km I ride this month !? Who‘s with me?
