Will you support my ride this Blue September? Let's tackle prostate cancer together

This September I've set myself an epic fundraising challenge to help bring down prostate cancer and support our mates.

On average 739 guys die each year from prostate cancer, so I'd love you to sponsor me so we can tackle this together.

It's the most diagnosed cancer for guys in NZ.

Here's the gameplan:

Some people do 739km biking, and others do 739 pushups.

I'm going to split that, and do 370km mountain biking and 369 pushups.

Your support helps provide research into treating and diagnosing prostate cancer, along with support for people affected by a diagnosis. Plus you'll be helping raise awareness so more guys know to get tested when they need to.

First week done!

Sunday 7th Sep

Well we’re 1 week in! My accomplice on this challenge is my old but trusty, GT Sensor bike. She’s getting on in years, but still responds under pressure. We’ve done some great rides over the years, including the Old Ghost Road, 42 Traverse, Timber Trail and the Motutapu and Ruapehu Express races, as well as untold KMs at Woodhill, Whangamata and Rotorua bike parks One day it’ll be time to retire her, but today is not that day. Over the first week of this challenge, we’ve had 4 rides, totalling 126km, and have done 70 push-ups, so we’re well on target. Thanks again for your generous support!
