Push for Prostate Cancer

💙 Blue September – Push Ups for Prostate Cancer 💙

This September, I’m taking part in Blue September, a campaign dedicated to raising awareness and support for men with prostate cancer in New Zealand.

Every day this month, I’m committing to doing at least 25 push ups. It may sound like a small challenge, but for me, it’s a way to push myself physically while standing in solidarity with the many men who are fighting battles far tougher than mine.

This cause is deeply personal. A good friend of mine is currently fighting for his life against prostate cancer. Seeing his courage and determination has inspired me to do something meaningful—something that can raise both awareness and funds to support men and their families facing this disease.

By supporting my fundraiser, you’re not just donating to a cause you’re helping provide vital support services, early detection programs, and research that can save lives.

👉 Every push up counts. Every dollar makes a difference.

Together, we can fight for better outcomes for men with prostate cancer.

Thank you so much for your support. 💙

Day 5 For My Mate

Friday 5th Sep

Today I pushed through another set of push ups over 150 in total now.

Some days it’s tough, but then I think of my good friend who’s fighting prostate cancer right now. His strength reminds me why I’m doing this.

If you can, please donate and help support men like him across New Zealand. Every bit makes a difference. 💙

Day 4 – Every Rep Counts 💙

Thursday 4th Sep

Day 4 is done, and I’ve now cranked out over 120 push ups for Blue September. The muscles are burning, but it’s nothing compared to what men face every day battling prostate cancer.

I’m still waiting on that first donation, but I know the power of this cause is massive. Every dollar raised helps fund life-saving research, early detection, and support services for men and their families across New Zealand.

If everyone who reads this chipped in, together we could create something huge—life-changing even. That’s the kind of impact we’re aiming for.

Day 3 – 33 Push Ups Done ✅

Wednesday 3rd Sep

Today’s push ups were a little tougher I managed 33 in total, and I definitely had to dig a bit deeper to get there. But I made it, and that’s what counts. 💪

Even though it’s only the third day, I can already feel the challenge setting in. That’s okay, though because this isn’t about me. It’s about raising awareness and support for men living with prostate cancer.

So far, I haven’t had any donations come through, but I’m not giving up. I’ll keep pushing each day, not just with my push ups, but with my voice to spread the word and keep the cause front and center.

Every push up is for my good friend, and for every man and family impacted by prostate cancer. I’ll keep showing up, one rep at a time. 💙

💪 Blue September Update: 60 Push Ups Down!

Tuesday 2nd Sep

I’m two days into my Blue September push up challenge, and I’m proud to say I’ve already done 60 push ups 30 per day, going above my daily goal of 25!

It feels amazing to push myself physically while supporting such an important cause. Every push up is a reminder of the men and families affected by prostate cancer, including my good friend who is currently fighting for his life.

Your support makes a real difference every donation helps provide services, support, and research for men with prostate cancer in New Zealand.

I’m excited to keep going and see how far I can push this challenge! Thank you to everyone who has supported me so far. 💙
