We have all lost someone to that bitch / bastard called Cancer.  I for one would like to do what I can to help reduce that pain for others.

This September I've set myself an epic fundraising challenge to help bring down prostate cancer and support our mates. 

Here's the gameplan: 

I am turning fun into a purpose. getting my 60+ year old legs spinning to inspire you to dig deep towards lifesaving education, research and support.  Like the fool that I am, going to try and reach the 739km which is the average number of families devasted by Prostrate Cancer each year. Its a stretch I know, but confident you will donate all the same.  And if I hit the number, maybe shout me a beer or three. 

Let's tackle prostate cancer together. Donate now. Because prostate cancer is killing people in our community. It's the most diagnosed cancer for blokes in NZ. 

Your support helps provide research into treating and diagnosing prostate cancer, along with support for people affected by a diagnosis. Plus you'll be helping raise awareness so more blokes know to get tested when they need to.

Bloody Man Flu

Friday 19th Sep

The dreaded man flu got me for a few days, still ahead of target but need to push through the last 10 days. 

Stay tuned and watch the numbers climb. Km and $$$$

Nearly half way there!!

Sunday 14th Sep

Nearly half way there.  My amazing network has donated $1,842, and in appreciation I have pushed out 467km. About 100km ahead of target but keep those donations coming and I will keep turning the pedals. 

One again - THANK YOU for your generosity to date. 

Biggest day yet

Tuesday 9th Sep

66km for the day, a bit of extra training for a decent crack at a big weekend to ensure I beat the target in recognition of the generous donations to date.
