Will you support my ride this Blue September? Let's tackle prostate cancer together.

This September I've set myself a fundraising challenge because my father and brother-in-law had prostate cancer and four of my friends have been diagnosed with it. I’m hoping to mountain bike 250km this month. We are in the middle of lambing, which makes it tricky to ride on the farm, but I can also ride on gravel roads.

Rewa Bush Ride

Two friends joined me today for a 40km ride today from Tauweru south to Wainuiouru, and east through the Rewa Bush Conservation Area, a rarely-visited 1200ha area of indigenous forest in the Eastern Wairarapa hill country that contains a significant amount of old growth podocarp forest.

Wainuioru ride

Saturday 6th Sep

Took advantage of a break in the weather to ride 23 km. Went south on Te Parae Rd to Wainuioru and back.
