Spartacus gets blue!

Australian Actor Liam McIntyre, recently announced as the new “Spartacus” in the second season of the show, is facing up to prostate cancer this September to support greater awareness in men of the need to get checked.

Liam knows firsthand the devastating the effects of cancer in men and is supporting Blue September to do anything he can to encourage early detection and prevent needless deaths from this disease:

“I’m supporting Blue September because cancer has affected my life in many many ways. My Step Dad died from cancer. You sometimes wonder if he had spent a little less time being tough and a bit more time getting checked out, you never know he might still be here. Anything that can help to avoid losses like this is something I’m more than happy to support” (Liam McIntyre)
