Blue Supporters are popping up all around the country for prostate cancer awareness.  Beachlands local, Ann, snapped this pic of the boys at “Meat to Please” quietly doing their bit for Blue September. (From left Troy, Toby and Dave)

Manukau Parents Centre President Emily Harrop-Smith sent in a glowing report of their Blue September Father’s Day Picnic at Ambury Farm complete with face paint, lamb feeding and a shared barbeque lunch.

 

And at the other end of the scale organisers of the Blue Ball in Marton have pulled out the big guns and raised $35,000 for prostate cancer awareness!  What a woppa of an effort. As Chris Bland from the Prostate Cancer Foundation rightly points out, on an equal scale Auckland should be able to raise 7 million!
