The show’s star RAY WOOLF was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer and now endeavors to encourage other men to face up to prostate cancer, get checked and allow for early detection.

"I’m aware that most men die with prostate cancer, not of it, but you don’t want to get this thing at 35 or something and not have it diagnosed. If you’ve got kids that you want to see grow up or grandkids like I have that you want to see grow up and get married, then let’s face up to prostate cancer.” (Ray Woolf)

Diagnosed two months ago, Ray Woolf has discussed treatment options with his doctor and will commence treatment once his current show commitments have ended.

The opening night premiere of ANYTHING GOES encouraged guests to enter via a blue carpet at the front entrance, indulge in blue bubbly and wear something blue - a blue tie, a blue flower or a blue frock!

Another special feature of tonight’s opening is that hundreds of officers from the New Zealand Navy will be attending.
